I would suggest going there ifyou have an elytra you want to put mending on. Silk touch would also be nice for picking up e chests in the end if you haven't gone yet (edited)

You could also just bring a mending book and an anvil with you when you first go to the end. I left some random starter gear there for if anyone is compeletly naked. Just a looting sword, some food, and a stack of diamonds (edited)
