Well it just depends. I would imagine the farther out you go the chances to find a more large stash go up, however trails can be easier to follow, which is why I always find empty ones super far out. I find the coolest stuff within like 50k - 300k OW where so much is loaded it can be harder to actually find a trail. (edited)
