the reason why I am so anal about natural terrain is that terraforming is just as skilled and visually impactful as any other form of building, and it makes everything so much easier and better looking when you can work with the terrain rather than against it

It’s okay it can be adapted however it needs to be done at the moment I’m pretty swamped with work so I don’t have alot of time to build the road, my other idea was having the nether brick only in the lake and then building something in the middle

I think as a general rule we shouldn't have any maps made at bases, period. It's arguably EASIER to terrain exploit through 2b2t's seed with a map for someone who knows what they're doing. Maps align to a 128x128 grid and you no longer have to search the full seed for natural terrain, but only places where that could align to the corresponding grid that's automatically created with the map. there are much fewer locations to search than if someone was given a screenshot with natural terrain since the program only needs to search in that specific section of the map that's been created

I know I'll get shit for "spreading dissent" or stepping outside of my bounds, but there are many people asking for this, most of them are the actual active builders of the S3/Ranger tiers who talk daily. They are the active members. When this is suggested individually, it gets shot down immediately as being unworkable, even if we do it right now, today, with Scouts for the roles, and Cakefuer for no easy accessible co-ords. I've been told this in VC by multiple people, the idea to do this for ranger is instantly shot down. what else can we - the collective, community we - do? I'm not a revolutionary, I'm just the aspie guy people trust as some kind of de-facto counsellor who takes the bull-charging direct approach to frustrations like this. If it gets shot down, fine. But it frustrates me that so many people want this change, and due to lack of communication, it is just disregarded as a fringe request. people need to actually talk with words and support. not, as Left Loaded eloquently said it, "shut the fuck up". That just breeds frustration. Lets get it all open. talk about the issue. brainstorm a solution. I put across mine and asked for support or critique, and got both. (edited)

Didn’t want to make the travel back out so I didn’t bother coming back. It got griefed and then when these cords were posted I had been busy irl with work and then the day D dmd me asking if I was coming to webzone 4 I had LITERALLY just got my motherboard back in my case and told him I’d come tomorrow. Well two days later I started my journey but ended up falling asleep while eflying and went to 500k so that is why I have not been building at the base but I’m very active. I try to talk to anybody and everybody I can whenever I can. I’d be willing to give my entire discord account over to D just to prove it’s not I who is leaking. I want my name in this group and in 2b to stay clean even if it’s just a block game. I haven’t read anything passed this so if there is updates on the situation this will get edited.
