WARNING TO TRAVELERS AFTER 9/5/2024 The diags are incredibly buggy right now. Use at your own risk. If you do decide to use the diag, travel out on the diag to the X coordinate, and then fly open nether the rest of the way. (Alternatively, you can use the axis highways, fly out to the X, and use the ring roads to get to the Z. Then fly open nether the rest of the way.) MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE THE HIGHWAY ON AN OLD CHUNK TRAIL. I recommend this.
You will need to make a portal at the coords provided. When you come out overworld, there should be a bed and e-chest nearby. Make sure you set your spawn and break the portal on the other side.
DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS OR XP ON THE OTHER SIDE WHEN YOU DIE. MAKE SURE YOUR PICKAXE IS DIAMOND NOT NETHERITE.
You will come out of the nether at the spot marked on the attached image. You can then fly to the base from there. The stash is inside the temple entrance, down to the left.

If you are interested in making the trip out here I'd love to have a VC and screenshot Wednesday night, with anyone who is interested or has built here. Thank you to everyone who's contributed so far! This base is getting pretty damn big, and I'd love to see it grow even more. I'll have a poll created for the best time to have VC/screenshot.
ANOTHER REMINDER I did announce a build competition here, Dong currently seems to be the only one who's created any builds that are submittable so far. If we have good turnout at the screenshot I'll extend the deadline to Friday 11:59PM EST. If not, Dong will be taking the prize of home.

I think I sorta poorly planned this perhaps we build a spleef arena here or a pvp arena and run a small event rather than just a screenshot and VC that way its more cohesively planned out and gives people a reason to show up @Larske

We started off with the Gardens of Babylon which is the main centerpiece
Chris is designing the Pyramid of Giza (pyramid master)
Veth provided us with the Statue of Zeus and I did the Colossus
We still need designs for the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, The Lighthouse of Alexandria, and The Temple of Artemis 1
